Intake
(diagnosis)

Patients referred for a root canal may first have an intake appointment, depending on how complex the case is.

The intake visit helps the dentist assess your situation, especially if information is missing, the case is clinically complicated, or you feel anxious about treatment.

During this appointment, condition of the tooth are evaluated so an appropriate treatment plan can be made.

Endodontic treatment

A root canal treatment (also called endodontic therapy) is needed when the inside of the

tooth (the pulp) becomes inflamed or infected, usually due to deep decay, repeated dental work, or trauma.

The aim of the treatment is to save your natural tooth by removing bacteria and infected tissue, disinfecting the canals, and sealing them carefully.

Endodontic retratement

Sometimes, a tooth that has already undergone root canal treatment may not heal as expected or may develop new problems.

In such cases, a re-root canal treatment (retreatment) can give the tooth a second chance.

Endodontic treatment through the crown

During the treatment, we create a precise opening in the crown, just large enough to access the underlying tooth and the root canals.

After the treatment, this opening is securely sealed with a filling material.

This allows the crown to remain functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Endodontic
surgery

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia to keep you comfortable. A small incision is made in the gum near the affected tooth to access the root tip, where the infected tissue and the end of the root are removed.

Treatment is carried out using a dental microscope for maximum precision and to preserve as much healthy tissue as possible.

Non vital tooth bleaching

Non-vital tooth bleaching is a dental treatment used to lighten a tooth that has become dark after root canal treatment.

When a tooth is no longer “vital” (the nerve has been removed), it can change color from the inside. Unlike normal whitening, this treatment works from inside the tooth, not just on the surface.
